After two days of competition, Dan Thorpe took his new 2012 300 JST Gas Gas to a convincing victory in the Manx National Two Day Trial. Losing only 7 marks he comfortably beat off a strong local challenge with 18 year old Manx rider Josh Brain taking 2nd place, just one mark in front of Barry Kinley. The top 6 was completed by Phil Disney in 4th, Ben Wibberley in 5th and Nigel Crellin in 6th. In the solo clubman class Graham Tales took the win for the first time, Darren Wasley was 2nd with Robert Shuttleworth taking 3rd. The sidecars proved to be a close battle right through the weekend. The Luscombe`s held a good lead after Saturday, but a clean ride by Rupert/Chris Kimber on day 2 brought them right into contention and the finished second by 2 marks to Robin and Sam Luscombe. Robin and Gill Morewood completed the top 3, with Juan Knight/Chris Molyneux finishing top local crew in 5th
